On the 7th of February the electronic duo YXA released their new single “Pansar”, a release that was aired on “P3 med Samir Yosufi” and also featured on the Swedish music blog HYMN. Apart from that, the more upbeat and quirky B-side “Päls” got a lot of international attention.

YXA carve their soundscape in their own distinctive way, drawing their inspiration from movie soundtracks, dance floor bangers and everything in between. With lyrics that avoid becoming filler and beats that try to please even the most timid dancer, they now create an imagery where the antagonist is an armour (Swedish: “Pansar”), and the trusty companion a big wolf with dew moist fur (Swedish: “Päls”).

YXA is a Stockholm-based duo tracing its roots to Umeå and Istanbul and consists of Deniz Duvarci and Gustav Frykholm. Prior to “Pansar” they have released two EPs, “Hjorthagen” in April 2015 and “1992” in 2017, which also had a limited release on cassette via the record label Digital Whatever.

sweeep integrates all types of electronic music, makes moody and atmospheric sounds into something best described as sweeep step. Her somber productions are a dive into murky waters, an exploration of spatiality and texture.

2017 she performed live at Redbull soundselect along with Gaika and Bladee/Drain Gang, abroad in London along with Lil Peep and in New York & Poland.

Now she’s current with releasing her debut EP on april 11.

With the known world as her natural habitat sweeep is currently located in the hub of electronic mysticism in Stockholm, Sweden. Let the flood gates open wide, and let brilliant sounds sweeep over you.

Linn Elisabet is a techno DJ and producer based in Stockholm. Being a classically schooled cellist since childhood colours Linn’s music with harmony and rhythmic complexity, met with passion for harsch kickdrums, gritty basslines and killer bpms. During the past years Linn has thrown the Swedish underground crowd between euphoria and despair – playing and producing for platforms such as Monument.no, Nordanvind Records and Street Life Rhythm.

Debut release ”Hålla Momentum” on SLR caught praise from names like Cari Lekebusch, Juho Kusti, Thomas Hessler, Rune Bagge and Bleak. Now rising to do their first international gigs during 2018, Linn carries on the story that started in a small town orchestra, through your warehouses, and throughout bars of sonic perception.
