Hägerstensåsens medborgarhus: IN VIVID DENSITY

Lördag den 13 maj och söndagen den 14 maj kommer sex framträdande poeter och författare från Kanada – Lisa Robertson, Kaie Kellough, Cecily Nicholson, Jordan Abel, Gail Scott och Michael Nardone – på inbjudan av OEI till Stockholm för uppläsningar, introduktioner, samtal, bokreleaser och utbyten på Hägerstensåsens medborgarhus respektive Rönnells Antikvariat.

Gail Scott is the author of Heroine, Permanent Revolution, The Obituary, My Paris, and the forthcoming Furniture Music, among other prose works, edited volumes and translations. She lives in Montréal.
Lisa Robertson is a poet and art writer whose books include The Baudelaire Fractal, Boat, Anemones: A Simone Weil Project, The Weather, Debbie: An Epic, Nilling, and Occasional Works and Seven Walks from the Office for Soft Architecture.
Cecily Nicholson is the author of four books of poetry – Harrowings, Wayside Sang, From the Poplars, and Triage. She teaches at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, and collaborates with community impacted by carcerality and food insecurity.
Kaie Kellough is a novelist, poet, and sound performer based in Montréal. His works include Dominoes at the Crossroads, Magnetic Equator, Accordéon, and the albums Creole Continuum and Vox:Versus.
Jordan Abel is a queer Nisga’a writer from Vancouver and professor at the University of Alberta. He is the author of Place of Scraps, Un/inhabited, Injun, NISHGA, and the forthcoming book Empty Spaces.
Michael Nardone is a poet and editor based in Montréal. His works include OEI #98-99: Aural Poetics, The Ritualites, Sonic Materialities, Transaction Record, and, with live artist Dana Michel, Yellow Towel: A Score.
